Emerald Ash Borer (EAB) was confirmed in Onondaga County in 2013 and the town of Cazenovia is within the Syracuse quarantine border. Attached is the latest map with specific known locations of EAB in Onondaga County, with the addition of one recently found at the OCRRA Amboy site in Camillus. NYS Departments of
Agriculture and Markets, and the DEC have changed the quarantine
boundaries and policies regarding ash wood management. The goal is to
help municipalities more effectively manage infested wood. Infested wood can now be moved throughout the year within quarantined
